I bought this positioned to substitute a Mistu 65 inch DLP because it was non-3D. This television has a tip pass picture, splendid 3D capability, and a howling price.

The upside of DLP is an excellent picture, relatively slim size for a rearward projection, and a lightweight design. (the 73 inch positioned1 weighs Mitsubishi WD-73738 less than my 2 40 in plasmas) The downside is that it requires a projecter lamp change when the bulb wears out at a price of virtually $100. My late positioned8 was four years old and I never received to substitute0 the lamp. They last from 3000 to 10,000 hours of use.

After the firmware update on these televisions (they will either come that fashion new from the factory or could be updated by pluggin an internet cable into the back of the set) they could be employed with DLP Link manner glasses and requires no emittor.

My exclusively issue is that for some reason, with the settings on “DLP Link” the television will not transport away the 3D signaling at each use. Every time you bike the TV choke and then choke back and desire to utilization the 3D mode, I get to call up the menu, de-select “DLP LINK” and select “Emittor”, then switch back to “DLP Link” again to cause it to output the signal. I believe that is a software issue that I hope will be corrected at the succeeding update.
